- As officially announced, as of 2025, citizens of 29 countries can travel to Vietnam and remain in the country for 14 to 45 days (depending on nationality) without having to apply for a visa. Full list of these countries and conditions can be found below.
- To enter Vietnam those citizens only need a valid passport with at least 2 blank pages.
- To stay in Vietnam longer than the exemption duration, the travelers can apply for a Vietnam evisa.
- To speed up the immigration process at Vietnam airport, visa-free travelers should take advantage of Vietnam immigration Fast-track service.
Citizens of the following 29 countries do not require a visa to visit Vietnam (allowed length of stay in days is shown in parentheses, footnote conditions apply if starred):

- Citizens of Brunei, Myanmar do not require a visa to visit Vietnam for 14 days.
- Citizens of Belarus do not require a visa to visit Vietnam for 30 days.
- Citizens of Philippines do not require a visa to visit Vietnam for 21 days.
- Citizens of Chile, Panama do not require a visa to visit Vietnam for 90 days.
Note:
- Visa exemption can be reused at least 30 days since your last day leaving Vietnam.
- You are advised to apply for Vienam Visa in case of stay longer than your free entry.
- Think carefully before using visa exemption if your plan in Vietnam is not FIXED because service fee for visa extension/renewal is much more expensive than apply for 01 or 03 months visa.
