Nha Trang is located in Khanh Hoa province in central Vietnam, lies on the trans-Vietnam highway, with many spots worth seeing. Nha Trang Bay is considered one of 29 most beautiful bays in the world.

Many people who have been to Nha Trang said that it was really a paradise from sunrise to sunset where you could have everything. About 1,270 kilometers from Hanoi, and 448 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, tourists can easily move to Nha Trang by bus, train or plane. Nha Trang has an international airport (Cam Ranh Airport), which is about 40 kilometers long from downtown.

There are many beautiful places for people visiting, including beaches, resorts, hotels and natural views such as Ba Na Hill, Chong Rocks, Yen Island, Tre Island, Bao Dai Villas, the white Buddha statue, the Water Palace, La-San Hill, Lo River, etc. These days, Nha Trang is very well-known by the Vinpearl Resort which attracts millions of foreigners and Vietnamese people every year. You also can visit a ecologic area with various species and a huge aquarium in Vinpearl land.

Going to Nha Trang beach, visitors will surprised with the wordless beach, warm turquoise water, white sand and pure air around the year. There are many luxurious resorts with various kinds of entertainment, golf, tennis, a huge swimming pool, nice rooms with marvelous sea-views. In northern Nha Trang, the Chong Mountain looks like a wide open hand over the sea.

Far offshore, the Yen (Swallow) Island appears with lush green color where salangane nests are harvested every year to make the traditional “bird’s nest” tonic and food. So, if you go there, bird’s nest soup, or swallow’s nest soup is very famous in Nha Trang and round Vietnam.

The main strip of Nha Trang beaches runs along the North-South of the sea for about 4km, covering 405 kilometers square including 19 small and large islands. Only two hours by rowboat or 20 minutes by ferry, you can set your foot on Hon Tre Island which is a very natural island belonging to a group of islands located in south-west of Nha Trang.

Most tourists coming there enjoy diving and snorkeling in the hot water springs, colourful fish and coral reefs underwater. They also can visit a history and worship places like Cham of Champa people between the 7th and 12th century. The ancient Cham towers sit high atop a hill; the views overlooking the river and town are breathtaking. Another interesting sight is the central market starting in the early morning hours where nearly everything can be bought.

The weather in Nha Trang is the most advantage for tourists who like sun bathing because sunny is available all the year, with an average temperature of 23 degrees. The rainfall is less than anywhere else in the country and the area is not threatened by storms since it is protected by the Truong Son Mountains and Ca Pass. However, the best time for you to visit is from January to August when the weather is ideal to bath and relax or you can go any months if you don’t mind rain and wind. Let go there to experience interests of Nha Trang!

Cu Lao Cham or Cham Island is an isolated archipelago including eight small islands 18km off the coast of Hoi An, are a tourist spot worth discovering. It takes you only one hour and a haft by boat from Hoi An to the island.

Hon Lao Island which the largest and only populated island among the island group, the boat will stop at Bai Xep beach to offer visitors a chance to see the white coral reef. Nothing can compare to the real experience of swimming in pure water over the reef, which is only one meter below the water’s surface – almost close enough to touch. So, don’t hesitate to jump off the boat into the blue water and enjoy.
The richness of different coral species and other marine creatures has brought the Cham islands to be included in the World Biosphere Reserve. At present, there are 135 species of coral, including six species first recognized in Vietnam, and nearly 950 other marine species living in the seabed of the archipelago, including many endangered species on the Vietnam

In the Bai Huong fishing village, visitors can learn about local life by watching local fishermen mend fishing nets and drying fish and squid. Visitors can also buy seafood at a reasonable price for a meal on Bai Chong Beach. If you like, you can fish themselves on a tour held on a local fishing boat and tasting many different kinds of seafood, some of which are unique to the area, such as lobster, oc vu nang (a kind of conical-shape snail), diep (a type of shellfish) and abalone. Another local specialty is cua da – a kind of crab which lives in small mountain caves. The flesh of the small purple crab tastes like butter.

In Bai Chong Beach, arguably the most beautiful beach on the island, visitors should enjoy the island with all five senses: listening to the sound of the wind in the leaves and the waves crashing on the shore, breathing in the salty smell of the air, capturing the scenery with their eyes, touching the smooth white sand and tasting the special things of this island. Tourists can sun bathe on the quiet white sand or take a nap on hammocks swaying in the thick shadow of trees. Bai Chong Beach is also an ideal place for beach volleyball and other water sports such as jet skis, kayaking and water skiing.

In 2009, Son Doong now belongs to Phong Nha – Ke Bang grotto system in central Quang Binh province. It was found by a group of British scientists and made known to the public the first time. It is immediately considered the largest cave in the world.

Another meaning of Son Doong cave is Mountain River Cave. It is very interesting for tourists who would like a detective traveling and discover caves as well as mountain. It is located in Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province. Its entry passage is very difficult for tourists to traverse because a large amount of fast flowing water inside Son Doong and a route to this cave is full of obstacles.

A man who led British and Vietnamese expedition teams to the cavern was a person that found the entrance to the Son Doong cave several years ago. The team supposed that local people had known of the cave but were too scared to delve inside. The exploration team said they had set foot on just 6.5 kilometers along the cave. It takes explorers 6 hours of walking through a 10 kilometer long forest path from Truong Son Highway to reach the mouth of Son Dong cave.

Son Doong is five times larger than the Phong Nha cave which is a famous large cave in Vietnam. The biggest chamber of Son Doong is more than five kilometers long, over 200 meters high and about 150 meters wide. With these dimensions, Son Doong overtakes Deer Cave in Malaysia to take the title of the world’s largest cave.

A long river was found underground running through the first 1.6 miles (2.5 kilometers) of the limestone cavern, as well as giant stalagmites more than 230 feet (70 meters) high. There are a great many of stone pillars, stalactites, small ponds, delves make Son Doong more beautiful and secret.

Tourists can book tour to Son Doong cavern from 2-4 days to discover the largest cave in the world and can stay in hotels in Bo Trach district. Going by car or air to Dong Hoi airport is very convenient now. Starting your trip and get much interesting experience!

Belongs to the famous cavern Phong Nha – Ke Bang which is the world’s largest cave, Tien Son is much higher, older and a lot of fossil level. It is without water inside so-called the Dry Cave. In 1935, it was discovered with 9 caves of various sizes and the Vom Cave system, with 8 caves of various sizes. Of which, spectacular Tien Son Cave is the most magnificent limestone cave in Vietnam and just opened in 2000.

Tien Son has nearly one kilometre long and a height of 135 meters. Few years ago, going inside this cave was quite difficult because there ware very slippery and full of obstacle. Now, nearly 400m of the cave have been installed with lighting system making it safer for visitors. The Cave looks marvelous inside with hundreds of stalagmites and stalactites of different sizes and shapes.

You will see an abyss here, about 10m deep. On the cave ceiling, there are glittering gold and silver-like veins. Echo- sound will be made when people shout or knock to stones. Tien Son Cave is older than Phong Nha Grotto, does not link with each other. Tourists are welcome to discover its miraculous hidden beauty. Tien Son itself is a truly fantastic cave and rather stable geography.
